Verizon iPhone Pre-Orders Begin on February 3 | e-Cycle

News continues to trickle in about when consumers will be able to get their hands on the long awaited Verizon iPhone 4, with the most recent news circling around the ability to pre-order the Verizon iPhone through the online Apple Store.

Current Verizon wireless customers will be able to pre-order the iPhone 4 starting tomorrow, February 3rd at 3am EST (set those alarms!). Pre-ordering is available through Apple’s online store and on Verizon’s website. Delivery and in-store pick-up begins on Thursday, February 10th. Non-Verizon customers will have to wait to order the iPhone 4 with online pre-ordering beginning Wednesday, February 9th.

Those who don’t pre-order their new iPhone should realize buying the iPhone 4 in-store is unlikely. High demand for the iPhone in both Apple and Verizon stores is expected and phones will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Other than camping outside Verizon and Apple stores, it seems pre-ordering online is the best bet to guarantee there is an iPhone 4 with your name on it.

After ordering your Verizon iPhone, head over to e-Cycle’s sell your iPhone page to make room for your new purchase. We’ll show you how to recycle your old AT&T iPhone safely and securely and get a few bucks back in your pocket. Happy iPhoning!

How Will the Release of the Verizon iPhone Affect You? | e-Cycle

The rumors have been swirling around for quite some time, but it looks as though the Verizon iPhone will be released sometime in the early part of 2011.

What does that mean for you? Whether you are a current iPhone user, someone who is monitoring Verizon’s foray into iPhone territory, or simply a smartphone enthusiast, this will undoubtedly have some effect on you.

The obvious effect would be for those of you who have been holding out on the iPhone simply because Verizon hasn’t offered it. Soon, those problems will be solved. But how else will the release of a Verizon iPhone affect you?

For starters, consumers now have a choice, and having the largest network as a choice certainly can’t hurt. It will also give plenty of people the chance to stay within the Verizon network, rather than having to switch to AT&T. Some might argue that Verizon is a better carrier overall, and its technology might actually be better suited for the iPhone.

The development of the Verizon iPhone will mean a lot when it is released, as it opens up a smartphone to millions of people who previously had a much harder time getting it. As a consumer, it gives you one more option for a mobile phone, and another way to download Angry Birds.

When the Verizon iPhone does eventually come out, you might want to get rid of your old phone in order to upgrade. If that’s the case, sell your iPhone with e-Cycle and take advantage of our services. Recycling cell phones with us means you do something great for the environment, your private data remains secure, and you can make some extra cash.

Extra cash that can go towards the purchase of the Verizon iPhone.
