The Mid-Ohio JDRF’s 2013 Promise Ball: Faces of a Cure, sponsored by e-Cycle LLC, will be held on May 11, 2013 at The Ohio State University’s Ohio Union in the Archie Griffin Ballroom. The black-tie optional event begins with a VIP reception featuring guest speaker, Gene Smith, and continues with a cocktail reception, dinner and evening program with live and silent auctions followed by dancing and dessert.

e-Cycle has a history of working with JDRF and has a personal interest in the organization as company founders Christopher and Tonia Irion have a child with type 1 diabetes and have been long-time supporters of JDRF and their research initiatives to find a cure for this horribly debilitating disease. Tonia also serves on the board of the Mid-Ohio Chapter of JDRF. e-Cycle supports the JDRF through the e-Cycle Foundation.

All proceeds from the ball benefit the JDRF, whose mission is to improve the lives of those affected by type 1 diabetes by finding a cure and developing better treatment for patients.
