Mobile Recycling and Buyback Company, e-Cycle, Awarded TechColumbus Innovation Award for Outstanding Service

e-Cycle LLC, is awarded the 2011 TechColumbus Innovation Award for Outstanding Service (fewer than 250 employees) for environmentally responsible cell phone recycling, mobile buyback and data protection

On Thursday, February 2, e-Cycle LLC was honored with the Outstanding Service Award (fewer than 250 employees) at the 2011 TechColumbus Innovation Awards. e-Cycle was among 29 Central Ohio companies selected as finalists for the award.

The TechColumbus Innovation Awards showcase contributions being made by companies both large and small that impact the central Ohio community and the world at large. Nominees for the Outstanding Service Award were judged on how well the company had defined, introduced and marketed a technology-based service, and through this service, demonstrated success in addressing an industry need or market niche.

More than 1,000 professionals and community leaders attended the event as businesses and individuals from fifteen different award categories were honored. The keynote speakers for the evening included Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, The Ohio State University President, E. Gordon Gee, and Limited Brands business mogul, Les Wexner.
